Snap Center Resource discovery job hangs

Issue

  • After successful plugin installation the resource discovery job hangs as running
  • SnapManagerWeb<Job ID>.log shows that a Resource discovery request is sent to the plugin and the log ends.
  • The SMcore<Job ID>.log on the plugin host reports:

2021-06-29T15:19:26.0669487+02:00 ERROR SMCore_40 PID=[29020] TID=[23] Exception in method: Invoke.

System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond <SC Server IP>:8146
