Issue

The following symptom(s) are observed on the OnCommand Unified Manager (DFM):

  • Management Station: Server Certificate About to Expire on <host_name>.
    The NetApp Data Fabric Manager (DFM) certificate will expire in 7 days.
  • After an upgrade of the DFM, HTTP service is unable to start.
  • Event: DFM SSL server certificate will expire on XX.XX.XXX date.
  • Failed to retrieve SSL certificate from Host Service. Check if Host Service is running with admin port configured as 8699 and the SSL certificates are correctly installed.
  • Event: server certificate about to expire.
    Condition: The NetApp DataFabric Manager certificate will expire in 7 days. Please create and reload new certificate soon.
  • Event Name: Management Station: Server Certificate Expired Event Description: Service certificate expiry status Event Severity: Error Event Timestamp
