Altavault Storage Optimization Service failed to start after a Power Failure

Issue

After a power failure the Storage optimization service failed to start with the following error recorded on the message logs :
 
Mar 19 09:29:16 localhost rfsd[28514]: [rfsd/kvs.ERR] (28514) Error opening database (Corruption: missing start of fragmented record(2)), store_root: /data/internal_db      <-----------
Mar 19 09:29:16 localhost pm[1734]: [pm.ERR]: Output from rfsd: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'KeyValueStore::DbError'
Mar 19 09:29:16 localhost pm[1734]: [pm.ERR]: Output from rfsd: /opt/rbt/bin/rfsd (pid 28514) received signal 6 (SIGABRT) dumping core
