ONTAP Mediator installation fails on RedHat/CentOS

Issue

The mediator-scst service installation fails when trying to install the ONTAP Mediator version using a version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS not in the installation guide:

Errors while trying to install ONTAP Mediator version 1.5 with Red Hat Enterprise version 8.7:
