MetroCluster IP cluster node does not connect to Mediator server

Issue

  • A single node in MetroCluster IP fails to connect to the Mediator server.
  • The node cannot ping the default gateway or Mediator server with the command network ping -node <nodename> -destination <destination IP> but the other nodes in the cluster can successfully ping with this command.
  • The node can ping the default gateway and Mediator server with the command network ping -vserver <cluster_vserver> -lif <node_mgmt LIF> -destination <destination IP>
