MetroCluster IP: Is there any impact for when the ISL and mediator connection is down?

When the ISLs are all offline:

  • Remote plexes will go offline
  • There will be no cross-site NVRAM mirroring (DR & DRAUX)
  • Negotiated switchover will not be possible

When the Mediator host (mailbox disks) are not reachable:

  • A Mediator-assisted Automatic Unplanned SwitchOver (MAUSO) will not be possible
