ATTO Fibre Bridge causing Link Failures on FC switch

Many link failure errors are observed on the switch ports connected to this ATTO bridge:
- 2021/04/13-15:17:49, [PORT-1003], 111567, FID 128, WARNING, FabSW1, Port 11 Faulted because of many Link Failures.
The ATTO bridge itself cannot obtain FC port error counts:
- get FCPortErrors all

Health Monitor reports the ATTO bridge in an 'error' state:

Sysconfig -a does not report the ATTO bridge under any of the adapters.
