Issue

  • After Switchover Switchback lif placement warning reported for one interface:

                  Name of the Cluster: cluster1
                  Name of the Vserver: vserver1
                      Name of the Lif: vserver1_lif1
                          Description: lif-placed-on-dr-node
                  Result of the Check: warning
Additional Information/Recovery Steps: RPC: Couldn't make connection [from mgwd on node "node1" (VSID: -1) to vifmgr at 1.2.3.4]

                  Name of the Cluster: cluster1
                  Name of the Vserver: vserver1
                      Name of the Lif: vserver1_lif
                          Description: port-selection
                  Result of the Check: warning
Additional Information/Recovery Steps: RPC: Couldn't make connection [from mgwd on node "node1" (VSID: -1) to vifmgr at 1.2.3.4]

  • metrocluster check lif delete-misconfigured-placement-info and metrocluster check lif repair-placement not fix the issue
