Issue

  • During a planned Brocade switch firmware upgrade in a MetroCluster FC environment, users experienced:Loss of connection to NAS (CIFS) file shares and applications.
  • Long CP (Consistency Point) delays, causing I/O to be unresponsive for up to 90–100 seconds;CIFS “Operation Timed Out” errors.
