Cannot configure object storage when backing up volumes within Cloud Backup Service

When attempting to back up one or more volumes in Cloud Backup Service, the backup operation fails with the following error message:
Failed to backup working environment. Failed to configure object storage. Cannot verify availability of the object store from node <node>. Reason: The specified container does not exist.
