Powered off disks lead to node panic on aggregate degradation and offlining

Issue

  • Node panics when trying to boot due to multidisk panic (MDP)
RPANIC:aggr aggr1: raid volfsm, fatal multi-disk error..  Raid type - raid_dp Group name plex0/rg0 state NORMAL. 3 disks failed in the group.
  • Disks show as "FAILED" in maintenance mode aggr status -r
  • Disks have LEDs off in disk shelf
  • Data aggregate is unable to be brought online
  • Partner is unable to perform takeover
  • Down node unable to boot due to the failed drives
