  • SnapMirror Synchronous

Answer

  • SnapMirror Synchronous can run in 2 modes:
    • In SnapMirror Synchronous Sync mode, the volume I/O  will be committed first to the remote volume and can be delayed up to 10 ms before the I/O is committed to the source volume and the Synchronous SnapMirror will go out of Sync
    • SnapMirror Synchronous StrictSync mode if the I/O is not confirmed within 10 ms timeout by the remote volume, then the I/O will fail
