CONTAP-99575: Additional snapshot is created on a SnapMirror destination volume when storage efficiency is enabled

Issue

  • SnapMirror destination has both storage efficiency and snapshot locking features enabled
    • Specific source snapshot is explicitly chosen for replication by running [snapmirror update -source-snapshot <snapname>]
    • Additional snapshot with the prefix [snapmirrorPreSE] is created on the destination. This snapshot is locked for the configured duration but the replicated snapshot is not locked.
