Why does the System Manager "Events" page show today's events only

Answer

  • The System Manager via API(GET /api/support/ems/events?) to gets events from ems files located in the /mroot/etc/log/ folder located on each node in the cluster.
  • All EMS messages count towards this 3-day and/or 2048 entry limitation, including debug logging levels.
  • If today's events exceed the 2048 entries, The System Manager "Events" page shows today's events only.
  • Run the "event log show" command can check the events entry in the ems files located in the /mroot/etc/log/ folder .
