Why does a browser show System Manager HTTPS Certificate as Not Secure when using a self-signed Ontap certificate?

Answer

Browser will display the following errors for the HTTPS certificate until a Certificate of Authority (CA) signed certificate is installed within Ontap.

  • Not Secure
  • Certificate is not valid
