Error while updating the SAML Service Provider host

Issue
Changing the SAML Service Provider host from IP to FQDN produces this error:
Error: command failed: [Job 37167] Job failed:
SAML job failed, Reason: failed to set field "username" to "admin"
Username does not meet configured requirements:
Username does not meet length requirements. Username length: 5. Minimum required length: 6.
