Cluster IOPS in System Manager are different than per-protocol IOP counts

Last Updated:

Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • NFSv4.1

IOPS are showing a discrepency which doesn’t make sense as the cluster level will have more IOPS than any specific protocol on the SVM level

Example: From the cluster level, it shows IOPS is about 5.8k, but from the SVM level on just one protocol (NFSv4.1) IOPS are about 22.65k which is way higher than the cluster level
