Can you disable the Explorer Tab in ONTAP System Manager?

Answer

  • Explorer tab cannot be disabled
  • This feature is meant for administrators to properly administer their cluster and track in real time issues and workloads such as restores , backups and others
  • You can issue the command bellow to turn off volume analytics to stop collecting data:
::>volume analytics off -vserver <vserver_name> -volume <volume_name>
