CONTAP-293072: LUN creation wizard incorrectly throws error "There is not enough storage space..." when manual placement option is used

Issue

  • Clustered ONTAP 9.13.1P4
  • Using LUN creation wizard to create a new LUN
  • Performance Service Level "custom" is selected.
  • Manual placement option is used and a Flashpool or SSD aggregate is selected.
  • Clicking "save" results in an error banner, "There is not enough storage space to add a LUN with the specified storage requirements".
  • Confirmed there is enough space on the selected aggregate.
  • Despite the error message, the LUN and container volume are still created.
