CONTAP-216088: System Manager fails to create an SVM due to "Network is unreachable"

Issue

When creating an SVM with the following configuration through ONTAP System Manager, the job fails due to "Network is unreachable".
  • Enable SMB/CIFS
  • Set HOME PORT for BROADCAST DOMAIN
Error: [Job 429] Job failed: Failed to create the Active Directory machine account "SVM1". Reason: SecD Error: no server available Details: Error: Machine account creation procedure failed [ 0 ms] Trying to create machine account 'SVM1' in 'DEMO.NETAPP.COM' for SVM 'svm1' [ 3] Failed to connect to 192.168.0.253 for DNS: Network is unreachable ** [ 23] FAILURE: Unable to contact DNS to discover domain ** controllers. [ 23] Unable to connect to any (0) domain controllers. [ 25] Failed to connect to 192.168.0.253 for DNS: Network is unreachable [ 26] Unable to contact DNS to discover domain controllers. [ 28] Failed to connect to 192.168.0.253 for DNS: Network is unreachable [ 29] Failed to connect to 192.168.0.253 for DNS: Network is unreachable [ 28] Unable to contact DNS to discover domain controllers.
