Issue

  • Customer reported they were unable to access their NetApp FAS2720 storage cluster via the node or cluster management ports.
  • All management and data IP addresses (CIFS server, node management, cluster management, intercluster, and SP IPs) were not reachable via ping. No data was being served and SnapMirror replication was also impacted.
  • Ping tests to all relevant IPs failed.
  • SnapMirror destination cluster reported “cluster peer unavailable” and peer ping attempts failed.
  • No recent changes or maintenance reported.
