E-Series SANtricity OS upgrade fails with timestamp validation failure for DLP file

  • SANtricity OS / NVSRAM upgrade to 11.90R4 release.

Issue

  • While attempting to upgrade E-Series SANtricity OS from 11.80GA/11.80P1 to 11.90R4 using SANtricity System Manager, the upgrade fails. A "Failed timestamp validation for DLP file" error message is returned:

  • The E-Series events (Support > Events) in SANtricity System Manager and support bundle / AutoSupport major-event-log display below event. These event indicate the firmware package could not be validated based on the timestamp of the firmware signing certificate.
