Issue

  • Unable to create Asynchronous mirrored group on SANtricity Unified Manager.
  • SANtricity Unified Manager reports:
    • Failed to create mirror consistency group because: The operation cannot complete because the storage array cannot communicate with the remote storage array to complete this request. Possible causes include network or connection problems, or no power to the storage array. Check these possible causes then retry the operation. (API 180)

  • In SANtricity UI > Hardware > Controllers and Components > Host Interfaces in Settings show only 2 Host Port connections are UP.
