  • E-Series SANtricity System Manager or Storage Manager's indicates array is in needs attention state with one or more of the following entries in the recovery guru:
    • Controller Drive Channel Degraded
    • DEGRADED_DRIVE_CHANNEL-Recovery Failure Type Code: 71
    • DEGRADED_DRIVE_PATH-Recovery Failure Type Code: 76
  • Major event log reports all drives on external shelf frequently report:

A:6/4/25, 6:55:40 AM (06:55:40) 6738267 100a Drive returned CHECK CONDITION - Shelf 1, Drawer x, Bay x
