Issue

  • Controller cache battery was internally disabled due to Nominal temperature exceeded alert.
  • Performance issue observed due to temperature exceeded causing latency in drives. 
  • From System Manager > Support > Event Log:

A:7/15/25, 6:40:13 PM (18:40:13) 7549: Controller cache not enabled or was internally disabled - Shelf 99, Bay A - Event: BAD BBU, Controller not Optimal, Battery Unusable-0
A:7/15/25, 6:40:12 PM (18:40:12) 7548: Nominal temperature exceeded - Shelf 99, Bay ambient <--CRITICAL
