Issue

SANtricity OS upgrade failed to apply the update to one or more nodes using storageGRID manager:

  • StorageGRID logs from Primary Admin Node - /var/local/log/gdu-server.log
E, [2024-06-17T23:27:40.190859 #10705] ERROR -- gdu-server: SANtricity OS staging failed with: SANtricity OS precheck successful.
Invalidating any staged SANtricity OS.
  ERROR -- Failed to recv all data. Read 0 of 4 bytes
  ERROR -- Failed to recv message length from SYMbolAPI TCP socket
  ERROR -- Connection problem while making SYMbol request.
  • Validate  7-segment for both the compute and storage controller.
  • SANtricity System Manager is not accessible or page not loading.
