Failed to delete backup as the backup is already mounted

Issue

A backup in SnapCenter is stuck in a mounted state and cannot be unmounted or removed. If a removal or unmount is attempted the error appears:

Cannot delete mounted backup or Failed to delete backup as the backup is already mounted.
