SnapCenter duplicate backup job failure - decommissioned host is not registered
Applies to
- SnapCenter Server (SC)
- SnapCenter Plugin for Windows (SCW)
- SnapCenter Plugin for Exchange (SCE)
- SnapCenter Plugin for SQL (SCSQL)
Issue
- After removing a Windows Server host from being managed by SnapCenter, a duplicate backup job is being triggered for the resource group which is failing with error, "
Exception when creating request for host: Host <decommissioned_host> is not registered with SnapCenter". - Modifying the resource group to run at a different time does not impact the time that the duplicate job is triggered.
