  • Storage Replication Adapter (SRA) 9.10
  • VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)

Issue

During a VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) failover operation:

  • SRA completes the failover workflow
  • However before returning the XML response back to SRM, SRA performs a full cluster rediscovery which is not needed

This unneeded cluster rediscovery extends the time of the failover operation.
