OCDWH MySQL service crashes with the error "Operating system error number 995 in a file operation"

Issue

  • When a certain report is run, MySQL becomes unresponsive and must be restarted
  • This error is seen in the MySQL error.log:

2021-05-11T10:40:20.205693-05:00 0 [ERROR] [MY-012611] [InnoDB] Operating system error number 995 in a file operation.
2021-05-11T10:40:20.206184-05:00 0 [ERROR] [MY-012617] [InnoDB] The error means that the I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request. Retry attempt is made.
