Resolution

This Resolution Guide is intended to provide guidance on how to address issues related to the Data Warehouse DB2 user and DB2 Service functionality.

The Windows user must also conform to the DB2 user requirements

The DB2 user can not be the same as the user performing the installation

The path in which Data Warehouse installer is kept includes parentheses OR a space caused the error

Group policy or User permission blocking the services from starting in the background

The DWH Server is delegated Group Policies from the Domain

The installation script is unable to validate the DB2 user from a sub-domain

Administrator Group Policy GPO is set to Deny access to this computer from the network

DB2 installer picks up on number appended to the end of the install file, causing install failure
