Answer

The DEFAULT Support Offering refers to any pre-existing contract level prior to the new SupportEdge offerings, regardless of what the pre-existing contract level was. The current offerings that are not included in the DEFAULT umbrella are:

  • SupportEdge Warranty
  • SupportEdge Basic
  • SupportEdge Advisor
  • SupportEdge Expert
  • SupportEdge PartnerSelect
  • SupportEdge Protect for Government

Older offerings that will show up as DEFAULT include:

  • SupportEdge Standard
  • SupportEdge Premium

In some circumstances, the Support Offering may show as DEFAULTADVISOR. This indicates the contract field is missing for that system. If needed, contact NetApp Customer Service to resolve this.

Additional Information

When using Active IQ Digital Advisor and the Active IQ Digital Advisor APIs, the new offerings will begin with AIQ. This is explained in Active IQ Digital Advisor, when viewing the Inventory or Renewals Support Offering Tooltips.

For example:

  • AIQNEWWARR
  • AIQBASIC
  • AIQADVISOR
  • AIQEXPERT
