Issue

  • Multiple "Storage Failover State Takeover Impossible" alerts, and other ONTAP related alerts are triggered several hours after ONTAP cluster upgrades.
  • The "Storage Failover State Takeover Impossible" alerts are triggered several hours after the actual event occurred.
  • If the alerts are triggered "Storage Failover State Takeover Impossible" alerts are triggered several hours after the actual event occurred and have stopped. We can safely ignore the alerts.
