Windows Active IQ Unified Manager does not complete the backup

Last Updated:

Applies to

  • ActiveIQ Unified Manager (UM) 9.7P1
  • Windows OS

The UM backup generates empty SQL files

  1. From task manager you see that mysqldump completes without issues
  2. The failure occurs during the 7zip operation
  3. At first the 7zip seems to work as expected, but at the very end the CPU spikes to 100% and the operation fails
  4. An error appears in database-dump.err

Program '7z.exe' failed to run: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. At E:\Program Files\NetApp\o
