Why Does ActiveIQ Unified Manager show different metrics and statistics than we see on Grafana?

Answer

  • Grafana is a graphing tool only the metrics or output can be affected by any of the following Grafana Harvest items:
    • the type of data collected 
    • the amount of data collected
    • where the data is collected from
    • the frequency of the data collection
    • the algorithms and calculations used to produce the metrics
  • Due to the above reason a direct comparison between the different systems ActiveIQ and Grafana is not possible
