The upgrade of AIQUM fails without any update in the logs or deployment files

Issue

  • The upgrade of AIQUM succeeds without any errors
  • After the upgrade is completed the services do not start
  • There are no updates in any of the logs under /var/log/ocie or /var/log/ocum
  • The deployment files in /opt/netapp/essentials/jboss/standalone/deployments/* are not updated
  • Right after the ocie service is started, you may see the java process shortly when running the command ps -aux
  • The java process will terminate shortly after the ocie service is started
  • The ocie services fails to start after the timeout of 60 minutes
