AIQUM doesn't create remediation even though script is not configured for alert

Applies to

  • Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 9.9 and later
  • ONTAP 9
  • An alert is created for an event like 'Inodes Full' that generates remediation (Management Action) 
  • Any script is not configured for the alert

Issue

  • AIQUM doesn't create remediation even though a relevant event happens
  • The event is properly listed in Event Management

  • Relevant remediation is not listed in Management Actions of Dashboard

Example: In case of Inode Full event, Increase number of inodes on volume (n) should be listed

  • The remediation is not listed in Management Actions too

  • ocumserver.log shows message

2022-08-08 02:19:52,984 INFO  [oncommand] [inventory-change-notify-0] [cluster1(baseline@02:19:51.169)|notify|volume|update] [c.n.i.s.c.s.RemediationEventListener] Script is configured from Alert and no remediation will be created for this event : 30001
