Issue

  • For operations such as adding disks to an existing aggregate or creating replication within BlueXP, the below error will be seen, resulting in the operation failing:
Error:The resource 'Microsoft.Compute/disks/xxxxxxdatadisk3' does not support availability zones at location 'japanwest'. Code: LocationNotSupportAvailabilityZones

  • The disk(s) can be added to the CVO manually utilizing actions from the Azure Portal in conjunction with the CVO CLI.
