Data Infrastructure Insights IBM SVC collector fails to collect performance data with a linkFailureList error

Issue

  • Performance polling is failing with  an error in the UI: linkFailureList does not have the same size, current size = 12, previous size = 0
  • In the AU logs, a message similar to the following is seen:
    2024-09-25 23:03:28,079 ERROR [DSM-pool-3-thread-25709/collector_name [storageperformance] [ 75 ] ] com.onaro.sanscreen.acquisition.framework.datasource.BaseDataSource - Error 1 out of 1: collector_name [Inconsistent data retrieved] - linkFailureList does not have the same size, current size = 12, previous size = 0 ([Device name array_name_or_IP]: linkFailureList does not have the same size, current size = 12, previous size = 0)
