SnapMirror update fails with error:"Failure to perform I/O with the capacity tier. "

  • The SnapMirror relationships were failing to update with error : 
(Replication operation failed because of error in dense subsystem (Failure to perform I/O with the capacity tier. Retry the operation))
  • From sktrace logs we see the below details:
