Issue

  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) instance is running with 100% CPU utilization in AWS, CLI reports lower CPU usage
  • Amazon CloudWatch reports a high CPU warning for the EC2 instance because it sees 100% usage.
  • Microsoft Azure Portal dashboard running with near 100% CPU (average) utilization. 
  • ESXi or vCenter report high CPU for ONTAP Select VM
