CVO has wrong serial number after restore from EBS snapshot

Issue

  • Due to AWS EBS volume outage, a CVO node had to be restored from an EBS snapshot
  • The restore is successful, however the serial number is reverted to the evaluation serial number that was previously used, which is now expired
