Azure Cloud Volumes ONTAP takeover impossible due to unsynchronized logs

  • Azure instance HA is degraded in Cloud Manager
  • There are EMS errors stating failover is not possible due to interconnect errors

Verify that the partner node is running and that the HA interconnect cabling is correct, if applicable. For further assistance, contact technical support.

  • Errors such as the following are logged prior to the interconnect errors
Sat Aug 15 03:06:07 -0700 [clusterAnode1: kernel: vsa.scheduledEvent.mlx.detch:notice]: NIC SR-IOV driver detach event detected. Unsynchronized log might be seen or HA takeover might occur if SR-IOV driver remains detached.
