Issue

Data ONTAP sends an alert that a Trident volume (ontap-san backend) is full

[<NODENAME>: wafl_exempt05: wafl.vol.full:notice]: Insufficient space on volume <PREFIX>_pvc_<PVC_UUID>@vserver:<SVM_UUID> to perform operation. <N>.0KB was requested but only 1.00KB was available

Cause
Solution

 

Insufficient space on Trident volume

Modify snapshot reserve settings 
Set space allocation in the backend
Increase PV size
Make adjustments to provision scripts
