SMB client using NTLM v1 is unable to connect AltaVault 4.4 or later due to Unsupported NTLMv1 authentication

SMB client using NTLM v1

Issue

  • SMB client is unable to connect CIFS share on AltaVault or unable to map the drive to AltaVault
  • Messages log of AltaVault has error messages like the following example.
