Altavault triggers cloud "replication pause" alerts repeatedly

Issue

  • Altavault Cloud replication is paused and resumed repeatedly
  • From the System Dump logs check the messages logs for following alerts:

Dec 27 04:03:34 localhost alarmd[10205]: [alarmd.NOTICE]: Alarm 'replication_pause' triggering
Dec 27 04:03:34 localhost alarmd[10205]: [alarmd.NOTICE]: Alarm 'replication' triggering
Dec 27 04:03:34 localhost alarmd[10205]: [alarmd.NOTICE]: Alarm 'health' triggering

Dec 27 04:33:46 localhost alarmd[10205]: [alarmd.NOTICE]: Alarm 'replication_pause' clearing
Dec 27 04:33:46 localhost alarmd[10205]: [alarmd.NOTICE]: Alarm 'replication' clearing
Dec 27 04:33:46 localhost alarmd[10205]: [alarmd.NOTICE]: Alarm 'health' clearing

  • The alarms are triggered and cleared in sometime
